My wife and I love coming here to eat. It's like a tradition every time we travel to Myrtle Beach. Three months ago we had our first son so we decided to pick up a pizza and bring it back to the hotel room. Went went inside, ordered, then preceded to walk to the back to sit down while we waited. It had been a long day and my wife had our son strapped to the front of her and the woman told us we weren't allowed to sit back there because we were ordering to go and said we had to sit on the stools up front. There was only one table being used in the back and it was a Wednesday night. I might understand if they were busy but that wasn't the case. We will be going back because it is more of a tradition, however the customer service really needs work.

Kids love pizza and especially after being on the beach all day. The pizza was very good and the staff was very nice. We actually ate here three times while on vacation. I wouldn't call it New York pizza as it is hard to compete but it was good and affordable none the less.

Being from the New Jersey-New York area, when we saw the advertisement for "New York pizza" we decided to give it a try. There are quite a few signs inside that remind you that it is a cash only restaurant. The pizza was pretty good, but it is definitely NOT New York pizza, if that's what you're looking for. Service was friendly and fast.

I was very disappointed in this establishment. First and foremost the service was horrible. I brought myself and my 4 children here approx 8pm on a Thursday night and we were seated in the back corner where I swear the waitress forgot about us because we sat down and did not see a wait staff at our table for 15 minutes and all she did was give us menus and walk away. All we wanted to do was enjoy a fresh hot pizza and some ice cold water because that day was ridiculously hot. The pizza was over priced and water was 50cents a cup and you have to pay for each refill. Not a bottle of water just a cup of water. I didn't believe you had to pa y for refills of water until thw waitress told me. After the waitress finally came back (reluctantly) to take our order it was almost 30 mins since we walked in and this was the last straw. I left and ate somewhere else. The overpriced food and drinks was not worth the long wait.

This place is great and cheap. Want some quick food? Go here. Gyros, pizza, subs; a classic beach deli quick food run. Sucks that it's cash only though. But that's really the only thing that bothered me but it didn't even bother me that much. Friendly and fun staff and the lamb gyro that I had was very delicious.

Foods not too bad... Gyros aren't authentic... Typical beach food. Service wasn't great but they only had 1 waitress for the whole place... Felt sorry for her. If your looking for reasonably priced food and have cash on hand, it's not too bad.

A great home town feel to the place even though it's mytle beach. I would suggest this place to anyone.

Quite the dive! Pizza was pretty good, the service was reasonably fast. Can't complain too much. Food was decently priced. A bottle of water was $2 which was a little steep. A little dingy, but like I said, it was a dive. Staff wasn't all too engaging. Cash only signs everywhere. I counted around twenty. We get it, we get it. Wasn't all too bad! If you want some food to go quickly, check this place out.

Quick friendly service. Easy place to stop in for lunch while walking around. The food is really cheap, we ordered a large pizza, a cheeseburger, a large sandwich, and a foot long hot dog along with sodas for six people was under $40. The food itself was delicious and the size of the sandwich and burger were good too.

Cheap NY style pizza at its finest. Friendly service also. If you are walking the strip and need a quick bite for your tummy this is a great place. One tip though, they charge for water.

So stocked coolers with glass pepsi bottles and beer service. Christie was nice. Pizza was good and garlic bread was tasty too. Decent pepperoni on our pizza. Not overpriced. No sign of mean old lady mentioned in previous reviews...

Too bad theres no 0 star rating. This place sucks! I went in for an icee - paid their price ($4) and got something that is NOTHING like an icee. Refused a refund - claimed I "done drank out of it", which is the only way for one to determine its crap. Customer service sucks, staff is rude (two crusty old ladies that apparently make their money swindling tourists.).

In short: expensive-Cash Only, flavorless, small portion sizes, very low food quality, flies everywhere. This place is convenient in the location/proximity to the beach. Staff could be improved a lot, our "server" was pushy. We were handed menu's as we walked to our table, immediately our drink order was taken (bottles only), and then she asked for our order of food. Felt like we were rushed, but asked for a few more minutes anyways since we didn't even get to look at the menu. She came back around, I got a chicken gryo and a side of fries, while my friend got a philly cheese steak. My gyro was super processed "chicken" with lettuce & tzatziki sauce. Fries were okay, kinda crunchy in the center still. Not good, would not recommend my meal. My friend said her sandwich was okay, but she has had better. All in all, I paid $14 for my meal and she paid about $10. Way too expensive for the portion sizes and food quality, and customer service. On top of all that the staff would switch off taking smoke breaks every minute right by the front door. Also we had flies flying around us and our food the entire time-a lot of them!!

Good crust, reasonably fast service. Wish they'd cooked the pizza a couple more minutes- was a little undercooked

I was surprised when I didn't find New York Pizza (the one on Ocean Blvd by the Sky Wheel) on Yelp. I looked and looked to no avail. So I've added it to Yelp and here is my review! Pizza -- Medium, Large, X Large, and XX Large. We got the large 4 topping with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, and onions. It came out in about 10 minutes with a nice crisp crust and decent toppings. It was just what we were in the mood for and it was enough to feed 4 people. The table (of 3) next to us got the XX Large and they finished the entire thing. I was amazed. Also on the menu are your standard fair of cheeseburgers, wings, subs, gyros, fried foods, cheese steaks, etc. There's a little ice cream stand in the front that serves Breyers ice cream. In the back is a wall of coolers with every kind of beverage you can imagine, including Coke and Pepsi with REAL SUGAR! Bottled and draft beer is available. The waitress was a little divey, but she was friendly and very helpful. Lunch for 4 was $30 + tip. Not too bad.

I was very hungry and lean on funds so got a slice of pepperoni and sausage here on the cheap and was very impressed!! i found this pizza to be quite good, much better than pizza one typically finds in the South and truly living up to the "New York" name.. yeah, it's a vaguely divey, order at the counter place - but given that this part of Myrtle Beach has a sort of Jersey Shore with Palm Trees or Coney Island atmosphere one does not really expect elegance in this particular location.. I found both the lady working the counter and the cook to be friendly when I interacted with them , unlike other reviewers, even though I was just getting a slice and no drink and wanted to eat in the lady treated me well, something which would not happen many places..

My friends and I loved this place! Fresh, delicious New York style pizza at a good price. The first time we went we decided we had to come back before our trip was over, so we did and it was just as delicious. The bad things were that it was cash only, and the waitress working was very rude to us, since we were ordering the food to go I assume. She kept trying to push us around when we were ordering our pizza which was irritating.

My husband and I walked in about 11 am on Friday after our Skywheel experience to buy a couple of sodas. The nasty woman twirling the pizza dough at the window begrudgingly took the money in her flour encrusted hands and gave me some change. I watched her go right back twirling the dough. She was a grouch pot and a nasty one at that! If only dhec would do their job and close this nasty rat hole maybe ppl wouldn't get so sick as this kind of carelessness spreads diarrhea to unsuspecting ppl.

The wait staff are rude, they took our order walked away, gave the food and then waled away. we needed refills didn't even give them, its a very small restaurant they could see when we were trying to flag them down. We found a long red hair in our pizza, when we brought it up to the manager he said " theirs nothing we can do" and made a joke about it saying " well have to run a DNA sample". This place reminded me of a Flea Market pizza stand / storage unit. There is 5 or 6 coolers that line the wall with nothing in them, many cardboard signs that read "we work for tips ONLY" and "employ discounts are for employes ONLY not their family's". and there was even a cooler/heater that was not working sitting in the dining room. They take Cash only so save your money and go else were.

This place sucks!!! Rude and unintelligent staff after I placed my order they gave me a number that they would call when my order was ready and my number was G, last I checked G was a letter not a number. I was in myrtle beach for a bachelor party this weekend with a total of 12 guys, 5 of us went into this pizza place for food before we went out for the night and all 5 of us got sick that night. Between the vomiting and diarrhea it obviously ruined all our nights. We had 2 pies between the 5 of us so it's not like it was one random pie that was bad, I'd love to know how any more people had a similar experience there. I've also called the board of health on this establishment, and I hope they get shut down for turning out a product that gets people sick. I also hope my review deters people from eating there, I don't wanna see anyone else have a vacation night ruined by this shithole. Avoid this place at all costs, if you eat there u will regret it trust me!!!!
